Disable the Inbuilt CD-Burning - Windows XP:

1. Open the Registry Editor.

2. Navigate to the following Registry value:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

3. Create a new DWORD value named NoCDBurning.

4. Set the value as:
0 = Allow CDR, 1 = Disable CDR

5. Restart the PC.
